Happy Friday!
This week, we’ve weathered it all—from a blizzard to extreme cold, and finally, to what could only be called “regular” cold. It feels like even within winter, there are seasons of their own.
This morning, I turned to Isaiah 26 and was struck by the goodness and beauty of this song, written for the redeemed to sing in anticipation of God's kingdom. "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you" (Isaiah 26:3). It's a song of praise for God's faithfulness in fulfilling His promises—a reminder to keep trusting, even when life doesn't make sense, when fear or confusion takes hold, or when the news stirs up anger and frustration.
May you trust in the Lord today, no matter what lies ahead. True peace is found in whom we cling to—and only the Lord is strong enough to hold and sustain us through it all.
Grace & Peace,
Amber

Something Super Exciting!
(just in case you haven't seen it yet)
Last year, Gospel-Centered Discipleship ran a blog series on the blessing of the local church. Next week they’re publishing a collection of those essays in a book titled Broken But Beautiful: Reflections on the Blessing of the Local Church.
I’m both humbled and thrilled to share that my essay is included in this book! 🙌🏼 This means I'll officially be a published author! It’s an incredible honor to sit alongside writers I deeply admire.
The book is filled with inspiring testimonies of how God has used the local church to bring encouragement and transformation to people’s lives. My hope is that it will not only encourage you but also challenge all of us to live faithfully as part of our own church communities.
(It officially comes out ON TUESDAY, but you can preorder a copy on Amazon.)
