Happy Friday!
I hope this message finds you well as the leaves turn and the cooler temperatures signal a new season. Fall is a beautiful reminder of God's faithfulness, not only in His provision through the past but also in how He prepares us for what lies ahead. As we celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend, it invites us into a posture of both gratitude and anticipation.
In the spirit of thankfulness, may we be "strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy" (Colossians 1:11). Let’s take a moment to reflect on His blessings and find peace in the plans He has for the days to come.
Grace & Peace,
Amber

Saul Had an Extraordinary, Supernatural Conversion—and So Did You | Nancy Guthrie (Crossway)
When our own salvation story seems so ordinary compared to others, we may be tempted to feel like it's not good enough or impactful enough to share with others. But Nancy reminds us how our salvation is similar to Saul's 4 ways and how that encourages us to carry his name to others.
Why is God Late? | Jana Carlson
"Our prayer requests are often attached to a timeline of our choosing— for example, money to pay an unexpected bill, healing of an illness in time for a big event, or answers before a decision deadline. But God often responds to our requests late, at least according to our own timeline." Why is that?
One Question I Ask Myself Every Day | Eric Raymond (TGC)
Is there a question you ask yourself every day? I'm sure I have a few. They range from "where did i put my phone?!" "what do we have up today?" "who is going to empty the dishwasher?" (note that some are asked aloud and others just in my head). Eric asks a deeper question though, "Is this a day I’d regret or be happy about when I’m 75?" I know I certainly don't want to live with regret, so this is a question to add to my list :)
Laughing (at Yourself) is Grace | Cheryl Balcom
More often than we think, laughing at ourselves in the midst of our errors or miscalculations is freeing. I know I need to practice this more.
I'm sure we've all asked this question of our circumstances and the pain of enduring painful trials. Find some encouragement from the goodness of Christ.
