My Mosaic (Aug 13)

Happy Friday!

Shocking changes to our lakes and rivers this summer, as water levels have-and continue-to diminish (local drone footage here). The leisure of using water isn't carefree anymore. You realize how much it's changed in only one summer.

Then, as we've gone back to in-person services, you see the ones who were newborns, now toddling down the aisles. It's not just been a summer of changes, but a year!

Although the changes around us can be startling, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Heb 13:8) and, "the grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever" (Is 40:8). There is a huge amount of comfort and hope in these words. Especially when we're overwhelmed by the differences we see.

Be encouraged today in your Rock, the firm foundation, the unchanging One and may the truths of who He is be held deep in our hearts.
